Okay, so welcome to the first series in my reboot of an old league from a long time ago: the PCFTP (PlanetCricket Future Tours Programme).

To keep my workload down, there will only be five teams involved in the PCFTP: Australia, England, India, South Africa and West Indies, and the only format played will be Test cricket. As a rule, PCFTP series will run concurrently with real-life Test series; there will also be a small World Test Championship that will run when the real life Champions Trophy takes place, though this will be a non-ranking event. Hopefully this will keep things simple.

Similarly, there will be no rule against members having players playing for several PCFTP nations, although they will only be allowed to have one player in each series.
