The Simpsons will obviously win this one but to be honest, for longevity it has not done too well. It was a great show for the middle seasons, but its early and recent ones have regressed back to stupid pop culture that we see so regularly on every other average sitcom.

Its real charm was its intelligence and subtlety, but it has gone terrible recently.
