On day 6 of our series in announcing the results of the Planetcricket awards 2005 we are pleased announce results of the two awards everyone wanted to know - Best Breakthrough and Best Overall Patch.
Planetcricket community is lucky to have many talented members amongst us who have spent considerable time and efforts in past 12 months to make Cricket2004 a better game. Breakthroughs like GD Kit Replacer, Graphics Importer, Save Game Editing, Field Editing, Edited Exe, XML Editing have made sure that our members continue to enjoy the game. The award for Best Breakthrough is our effort of saying "Thank You" to all these talented people.
We had total 85 votes cast in Best Breakthrough category and the results are:
1st Place - Sams new EXE (64%)
2nd Place - Graphics Importer V3- Crowd/Stadium Editing by Prakash (18%)
3rd Place - Save Game Editing by Sachinisgod/Ajit (9%)
So the winner is - Sam for his New Edited Exe!
Updated TV Graphics, Bats, Faces, Tournament Formats have all played a big role towards keeping Cricket 2004 up to date. These patches have been widely used by members who post their cricket series stories on the forums or anyone who want to have an authentic feeling when playing a match. At Planetcricket we are thankful to all the members who provided these patches and hope they will continue their good work.
We had total 85 votes cast in Best Overall Patch category and the results are:
1st Place ? Sky Sports TV Patch v2 by Ste (57%)
2nd Place ? Nine TV Patch 3 by aussie1st (16%)
3rd Place - Bat pack and roster.pak by Barmyarmy (13%)
So the winner is - Ste for his awesome Sky Sports TV Patch!
We congratulate both Sam and Ste for their excellent work. We also appreciate the hard work by all nominees and everyone who helped in creation all the wonderful patches.
Tomorrow we will announce the results of Most Promising Game and Best New Member.
