Planetcricket Awards - Result Day 1!

Today we are pleased to annouce the first results of the Planetcricket Awards with voting finishing yesterday after a week of polling. One catagories results will be revealed everyday with todays results being for the Best Avatar/Signature catagory.

Starting with 3rd place with 11% of the votes cast its lazy_chestnut/Tom Hick's Andy Flintoff "Who Ate All the Pies" avatar:

Coming second in this first catagory to be annouced is groobz for his avatar after getting 23% of the vote:

But in first place with 29% of the vote is crick4life/ravi with his skeleton bowling animated avatar:

In the end it is therefore a cricket related avatar that wins this first award to be annouced with the other users nominated deserving honourable mentions (in to particular order):

Tomorrow the results of the award for the Best Moderator will be annouced following that on Thursday will be the Best Kit Creator award.

still it is quite irritating to have to wait several days for the results

I quite like it because it gives the winner a bit of glory for a few hours

It's going to take longer to release the results than it did to vote- at least do 2 at a time or something.
