Cricket Board announced captains

PlanetCricket team coach Graham Gooch talks with team members during a
training session​

PlanetCricket announced today that Dipak will be made captain for 2013 cricket season and Nick Agger will be vice-captain and will captain the team in T20 cricket. Dipak brings a high quality of cricket experience to role, having played last time around. The decision forms part of the team's succession planning for the future.

Chief Executive Holt said "The management staff believed the splitting of roles between T20 and test cricket was something that had been known by a number of counties as the best way forward in the modern day game.

Graham Gooch, PlanetCricket Head Coach feels his team are in excellent shape ahead of the tour of Bangladesh after hard work. Gooch is pleased that players have taken responsibility of their own games and, as he explains, no stone been left unturned in terms of preparation.

Gooch says one of the main challenges has been, and will be to manage the players work loads, so they are getting plenty of active recovery into their schedules to ensure they are fresh to take on the test match ahead.​
