Player Rating Files

Question for you PC'ers as I'm a PS2 man so can't do it.....

Would it be possible to extract all the player ratings from the game and publish them on here (spreadsheet or whatever) so we can look through and see who all the best players in the game are?

By ratings I'm meaning things like in-swing and out-swing rating, stuff like that.

Also what type of bowler and batsman they are? Opener, lower order, etc....

Don't know how time consuming it would be, but if anyone knows how to could ya give it a try??

Haven't looked at doing that yet. The player editor is next on the priority list after the gfx editor so maybe then.

If anyone's familiar with Champ Manager editors and stuff then a CMScout thing might be the way to go. Or something like Tri Wasano's editor which has a report tool and editor combined if i remember correctly.

What language are the editors written in? If it is VB then I could try. I've written a program to read information from a database, but I don't know how different it is from the storage in CK2004. Small problem though ... earliest I can get the game is when it is released in the UK.

you could probably write the language in basically any language
