Playing fast Bowlers

Hey guys. sometimes it so happens that fast bowlers bowl very straight, not giving you runs away, especially in hard mode...
In that case, just hit the slog sweep shot off them and if it is timed nicely, it'll go for four or six. It works for me everytime, even without an AI Patch...

you can also try the ondrive along the carpet....its pretty effective against yorkers ....could get 4s depending on ur timing and the field placings.... but i've never tried a slog sweep on a staight one .....a wee bit dangerous i'd think if u miss

Just be careful that you try the slog sweep off a good length or just short of length ball. If you slog sweep against a pitchd up ball, you're dead. I was talking about fast bowlers bowling just short of length at that tight uncomfortable spot on or around the off-middle stumps.

i would coverdrive a left hand bowler if he pitched the ball there, while for righ handers i would just straight drive. If a ball is pitched right as a yorker, come down the track

the sweep has to be well timed.
but if you are not playing with any patch,it's quite easy

Sounds a bit risky to sweep a straight ball off the stumps??
