I used to be the best player of spin in my team, but very poor against pace.So I started to practice against pace bowling.I have got a lot of improvement in my batting against pace. But in last few matches the opposition had only 2 pace bowlers and I didn't got to play against them but against spin I did score some runs but lost my wicket quickly.I want to know is it because of my poor form or am I struggling with my technique. My friends told me that my foot work is perfect but just I am playing one or two wrong shots. If I am going through a poor form, what should I do to get rid of that poor form? But in last 3-4 matches in which the opposition had no spinners or 1 spinners in their team I got starts like 19,24,43,27 but against spinners only once I got into the double figures that is 29.Please suggest me what should I do?My avarage at the start of the season was 69 and now it is only 63.

Though it is extremely difficult to mark out the mistake you are committing without watching you play, by what you have mentioned, I guess you get pretty lured when you have spinners bowling to you because you play spin good. It does happen with many subcontinent players who are very good at playing spin and so try to milk the spinners and get out in the process. This might well be the case with you and if that is really the case, you just need to keep your cool, wait for the lose delivery unless the situation demands you to go barbaric against the bowlers. The bottom line is: its more to do with your approach against the spinners than your technique.

here's a few thing you need to keep in mind when you are playing against the spinners
1. watch the ball till you make contact with it.
2. don't commit to play too early.
3. be cool n don't be too careful

a few other things to do
1. use your feet - get to the pitch of the ball
2. hit along the ground
3. dont be afraid to play the sweep shot
4. use all the room you have in your crease.
