Hi all

I thought this would be a good thread to start (possibly sticky?) so that new members, or members with finite time on their hands, would be able to quickly find an answer to their questions.

I can edit this OP as and when answers are provided for bugs that may be brought up throughout the thread.

1.The save game issue - Those that find their game crashing when attempting to save and exit

Solution

A number of ideas have been thrown around, but so far, the most successful seems to be allowing the game to run to the demo when first starting the game. Once the demo starts, press any button, and then start your game. I believe this fix was found by PC member @Ch0rus

2. Walking fielders - AI fielders taking a Sunday stroll whilst chasing down the ball

Solution

I have found that when I am the fielding team, holding down the sprint button (so if I was bowling, making my player sprint) that the other fielders stop walking and field as usual.

3. Game freezes after taking a wicket caught behind, fielders all gather to celebrate but the game doesn't move on from there.

Solution

Wait a short while before you appeal for a catch.

And now I'm going to delete my previous post, to keep the thread clean.

When I'm sure you've read this, I'll delete this one too ;)

Good idea! I've deleted mine, oh and given you a thanks! :-)

Hopefully more people will read and contribute

I always had a doubt about how good the in-game DRS is, as I had many reviews turned down even if the ball is shown as hitting the middle stump, just because the ball pitched outside the line.....I guess even if the ball pitches outside the line and goes on to hit the middle stump, it should be given as OUT.....

I have found it to be accurate myself, following the laws of the game properly.

If it pitches outside leg, you can't get out LBW under any circumstance. Pitching in line or outside off are both fine, but if a shot is played you can't be out unless the point of impact is in line...

All of my DRS reviews have ended up in the correct decision, although I'll be sure to post a video/screenshot if it does go wrong at some point.

you said pitching outside off is fine.... isn't it considered pitching out of line.....

The ball is allowed to pitch outside off - as long as the impact is in line and the ball would have hit the stumps then it's out. Pitching outside leg is different and can't be given LBW at all.
