yeh i have been doing and nothing makes me optimistic but i really want it cos 2002 was ok for awhile and i need a cricket game. im a big cricket fan and want something that looks reasonable and plays good. the main problem i had with 2002 was you couldnt beat the bat and get catches in slip as often as u would in real life, hows 2004 fair?
There are a lot more edges in 2004, for both human controlled teams and CPU teams.
If you use Ravi's patch you should find you get an even amount of edges

There aren't many patches out yet. We're all hoping for an EA patch to fix the more serious bugs. There are definitely more edges although I'm probably the wrong person to ask as I've not had time to play the game much.

Waiting for EA right..........

PS2 vs PC(with patches)

PC wins hands down, play PS2 on high definition TV looks crap.

I have to agree with Matt - I got the PC version last night after playing the ps2 version for the last couple of months. It so much better on the PC.

Not forgetting the patches...

I don't know if anyone has asked this question yet. Is the PS2 version faster and more smoothly done than in the PC version?

Faster? Given that the PS2's a 300MhZ machine if you've got anything resembling a decent computer I wouldn't imagine so

Yeah, my laptop is pretty decent and it only runs the game fine on 800x600 32bit mode.
Brad352, do run your Cricket 2004 on a higher resolution and the game isn't slow?
