good point actually brainiac might suffer hopefully he will be back soon and fit and well and as for top gear i hope the producers dont feel bad about the accident as these drivers take risks all the time.

They've already filmed a fair bit of the new series, which starts next Sunday I believe, it'll depend on the next 24 hours really.

It's not a no hope sitaution, the cars built for land speed records are seriously tough.

It looks fairly bad, the condition is critical, and he is in special neurological unit. Hope he recovers well.

They were using jet powered cars.

This is really saddening. I really like Richard Hammond and he is entertaining to watch. Braniac is my favourite show.
I hope he pulls through and makes a full recovery.

I couldn't believe it when my mum told me it was on the news. Atleast he started to regain consciousness when he arrived at the hospital, surely that can only be good. Fantastic presenter and entertainer, I really hope he recovers from this and continue to do what he does best.
