Run Assist in One Day Games

I usually bowl and let the CPU Bat but have recently taken up the challenge of batting. On my system at least you only seem to be able to use the run assist in test or county games but not for one day matches (on Easy, Normal or Hard) which I find a bit irritating as at least on the easy level I would expect some assistance so as not to be constently run out. I have Sams Exe installed and Ravi's latest patches but I've tried going back to the original .gob and .exe files and I still don't get a Run Assist option at any level in one day games (the option is greyed out on "off"). Is this an EA "feature" or does anyone know of a fix?

Ive noticed that as well, they come up on the PS2 version but on the PC it doesnt seem to come up. I dont think it has anything to do with a patch uve installed but it will most likely be fixable if someone did make a patch for it
