seam bowling - How can I use the blue line?

I would be grateful if someone explained to me how on earth I am supposed to use the little blue line during bowling that can be adjusted with the direction keys. I know that I am supposed to move it but I have no idea what it does and how I should use it properly.

Since no one seems to be posting here any longer I think I'll break the ice

Frankly the blue thing does not affect the way you bowl at all..at lest for me.There is no movement off the pitch except for swing bowlers that I've noticed.

[color=#000000ost_uid14]thanks for your help with this, but i do seem to have noticed that if i set the blue thingy to either the right or the left and bowl yorkers, more catches behind the wickets result somehow. i must be doing something wrong if the 9th wicket of Zimbabwe took longer for me to drop with the Indian team bowlers than the rest of the entire Zimbabwean team put together (some 60 overs!)
