Should I buy Cricket 2005 because of the following?

I have BLIC and have enjoyed it so-far, however there are a few things troubling me. I feel batting is too easy and inrealistic, though I have great fun bowling. My one doubt about Cricket 2005 is the speed of the fielders. They seem way too fast on the demo...is this the case in the real game?

Are there any bugs in BLIC that make the game less enjoyable?

The fielders are indeed too fast in my opinion, but I'm hoping that if someone produces a player editor we might be able to slow them down. :upray I played the demo of BLIC and the demo of Cricket 2005. I bought Cricket 2005! I thought BLIC was weak, sorry.

Game Review have rated Cricket 2005 poorly. Is cricket 2005 better than the ratings. I've also heard Cricket 2005 is extremely hard. Is that true?

cricket 2005 is hard game but it has its rewards once you make your 50/100 it feels youve worked hard for it and deserve it. if you put time into the game you will sooner or later be making 50/100 more easily.

some mags have given ea cricket poor ratings thats is prob because of bugs or they dont understand the game well

i have both cricekt games, i want to play cricket 2005 more then blic [infact im selling blic] cricket 2005 is very real... the pace is slower but you feel the crowd reacts better as one other member on here posted....

get cricket if you wannt harder game, better graphics etc...

Well, put it this way: 1) Everyone is going to have subjective reviews, even me; 2) Yes, it can be hard. I find that playing a test match on a good wicket is a bit too easy on Medium level so I am now playing on Hard, which is a bit too hard at the moment and requires practice on my part. Playing on Damp, Wet, or Green wickets on Medium is a challenge and on Hard is downright mean! Yes C2K5 has a number of bugs and annoyances but, as I've said before, the community will overcome these as with C2K4 which was made excellent. If you value 'upside' as the Americans love to call it, then C2K5 is a pretty safe bet.
