This is currently being worked upon. There will be 5 seconds delay between deliveries. So a 50-over innings will take approx 25 minutes to complete, 20-over will take around 10 minutes.

Once that's done, I'll implement a live scorecard feature (just like it was in CH) where users can see the simulation in action.
Uhm, that is way too long I think. Cant you make it in this way, that if we do not live stream the card, there is only a 1 sec delay between dekiveries? And while the scorecard is being live seen, There is 5 second.

Alright. I will do one better. I'll give you guys the option of deciding the time interval between deliveries yourself.

[29.3] S.Badree to M.Dhoni, 1 run, back of a length at off stump, lifts off after pitching. Takes the thick outside edge but he was playing with soft hands.
[29.4] S.Badree to K.Rabada, no run, narrowly misses the off stump. Good length, in at off stump and just flies through from above as the batsman offers a big gap between bat and pad on his push.

[29.6] S.Badree to M.Dhoni, 1 run, slower ball, full and wide. Chases it with hard hands. Can only slice it to deep point.

[31.5] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, no run, the bowler has dropped a return catch! It wasn't an easy chance. The batsman forays down the track, takes it on the full and drives it back to the bowler, sticks out his right hand but the ball does not stick. Not even on the rebound.
[31.5] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, NOBALL, huge gap between the foot and the tram line. Guess the bowler missed his run-up.
[31.6] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, no run, short and wide, slashes hard at it. It bounces rapidly over the outside edge.

End of 32nd over
Sky Hawks: 127/9 | 3 runs | RR: 3.97 | Projected: 198 runs
Jasprit Bumrah 7-0-32-3

[32.1] D.Steyn to D.Steyn, FOUR, an aimless stab in the corridor from the batsman. A nothing shot. It's headed straight to the fielder but he sees the open face and starts moving to his right. Means he is already up as this flies low to his left. Would've taken it if he wasn't moving.
[32.2] D.Steyn to D.Steyn, no run, Dug in short. He backs away to try and slap this behind square on the off side, but the change in pace does him. Beaten.

[33.4] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, no run, walks across to the off side. Not sure whether to go forward or back. Stuck in between. Awkward poke and he's trapped on the pad. He was outside the line.
[33.5] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, no run, pushed through flatter and faster, starts outside leg and raps the front pad. The lbw appeal is shot down.
[33.6] J.Bumrah to J.Ryder, 2 runs, banged short and outside off, rushes the batsman into a hook. He ends up miscuing it in the air, straight of mid-on.

Jasprit Bumrah 8-0-35-3

[34.2] D.Steyn to J.Ryder, 1 run, slower ball, short at middle stump. Looks to parry it past short fine but he's got a leading edge that lands in front of the fielder. He's too keen on the run out and is shaping to throw before gathering it. Fumbles and lets them through.

[34.4] D.Steyn to J.Ryder, WICKET

I was running some tests. At the moment, I only have two teams, in Pakistan and Random XI for these tests, but in everyone of them Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat. Worth looking into ? @asprin

Also, how much time till the tournament mode is available to use ? I'm looking to start my tournament by next week, and although I can do that without the tournament mode, I'm sure having it would make things easier.

I'm assuming you are resuming an already created match (for which the toss had already been done). When a toss takes place the first time, I'm creating a checkpoint (which saves the toss result) so that it becomes easier for you when you resume from that checkpoint or re-simulate the match. That's the reason why you see Pakistan winning the toss each time because that value is coming from a stored result in the database.

Unfortunately, things have kind of become hectic at work and so I haven't been able to make much progress on it. I'm afraid I do not have a specific timeline at the moment but it's not gonna happen until at least Feb 2018.

Nope, I simulated 4-5 games and in each PAK won the toss and batted.

It’s okay, I can deal without the tournament mode, but I’m sure it will be a useful addition once added to the sim.

How can I play this simulator? Cheers
For starters, you can go to http://asprin.me and create a new account. Then you create teams and players and then have the teams compete against each other by simulating a match via the "Match Center".
