With less popularity in Affiliate & Associate countries, ICC have decided to form a new governing body which will organize and control the Associates and Affiliates. Although ICC has the final decision whether to approve that tournament or not, AACF (Affiliate & Associates Cricket Federation) have come up with a Super Over Championship Cup.

This tournament is a long tournament and will consist of all 32 Associates, playing in a Knock Out Competition. AACF are keen to increase number of teams in this competition but tight ICC scheduling stops them from doing so.
