Sound Recorder - Help...

I need help abt my microfone...When I try to record sumthing, I get an error...I hav posted a screenshot!

Try opening up task manager and then click processes, see if there is anything running that you recognise as audio like 2 copies of soundrecorder for example

What sound software/hardware are you using (what manufacturer, e.g. Creative etc)?

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the Task Manager and close all other unnecessary programs besides the Sound Recorder and the essential programs.... Try recording now and there should not be a problem!

this depends, if your soundcard can record multiply streams or not.
check if sound recorder isn't recording, and there are no other versions running.

try Audacity. thousands time better, and free.if it doesn't work, u need a sound driver reinstall.

by the way, what is name of soundcard?

Well...now everything is fine..I dont know how it happened but it is working now!
