The sources said that after Steven Smith decided to pull out from the tournament due to his ankle injury, Kochi franchise is keen on signing Dada.

But I think as per IPL rules Sourav cant replace Smith i.e if they want a replacement for injured Smith, they should replace him with a player having the same base price ( or lesser ) than Smith's.....Ganguly's base price is more...
