I think the match starting 4th July is going to be vs Middlesex at Uxbridge. Not totally sure if this has been confirmed. But I think the 3rd option was Sussex, not Surrey anyway ;)

Given how they can't play spin, let's say Rashid and Monty for The Oval? ...

yeah, I think monty will be the key for England (IMO), if he can do his magic with the ball.

i dont think rashid will play for england this summer, i think he may get taken to india as our 2nd spinner but south africa may be too early for him

Yes, he is a good player. I'd certainly have him in the squads. No OT this year though. Headingley has been kinder for spinners of late.

Sidebottom, Broad, Panesar and Swann as a four man attack?

Quite well balanced, depth in batting too and good mobility in the field.

interesting attack, colly may have to bowl a fair few as well, but over the year or so hes been pretty handy with the ball so thats no problem, but how much easyer is it to try and play 2 spinners now that harmy and hoggard dont HAVE to play, in the past england simply HAD to play 3 seamers in case harmison was a joke but now we have more consistant bowlers in his place and can think about 2 spinners

I dont think I'd ever go into a match in England with just 2 pacemen. Even if the spinners were Warne and Mushy. You'd need a real allrounder and while Colly can bowl a bit, he shouldn't be relied upon.

2 spinners as part of a 5 man attack in the back half of the English season is fine, but not a four man attack. If you need a second spinner and dont have space for one, chuck Pietersen the ball.

Well I don't remember when last time England have played with two spinners..
although Attack which respected Sureshot has suggested looks very fine to me..
Sidebottom+Broad+Colly
Swann+Panesar
KP....

I do think the coaching staff could maybe work a little more with KP and his bowling, his primary objective is obviously batting. But he can bowl and it's something we could work on and get another positive out of him. Because he doesn't offer a huge amount of reliability in the field.

Thats why I mentioned him in 3rd Row..
Actually whenever He has came to bowl most of time He got wickets..

And I Still belive He can do the Job as Part time Bowler..
Thats called Kp,,He can use his talent in any departments..And Coaching Staff should have try to use his all Abilities ...
