Special Delivery Problem

I am facing difficulty while using 'special delivery' of a bowler. On most occasions it does not bowl at all the desired delivery. If at all sometimes it does it, it goes for runs. My questions are:

1. When and how to bowl such deliveries?
2. Can a bowler bowl only one such delivery 'once' per over?
3. How can we use such deliveries to bowl out the batsman?

Early and to the point replies to the above would be appreciated.

Thx & Rgds.

Special deliveries can only be bowled when bowlers adrenaline meter is full and most of the time they won't give you a wicket

Hi.. i have some experience with this Special delivery option.

1. Remember the special delivery can be chosen only when the player is a bowling specialist. That is bowling skill points are greater or equal to 7.
2. When your Bowling skill points are 10 , you can choose 2 special deliveries.
3. If you want to take more wickets with this special delivery, always use a fast bowler. Spinners are good, but because of their slow nature they can be easily judged, only 'birdy' special delivery would be a good option.
4. Ok now, for the Faster bowlers the effective options are 'Toe-crusher' and 'reverse-swing'
5. 'Bodyline bouncer' can injure the batsman, but very rarely,it fetches a wicket.
6. The bowler will always be fresh in his first over. So u can get many special deliveries in the first 2 overs.
Instructions to use Toe-crusher :
1. Place the bowling cursor in between the batting crease. i.e In between the two crease lines.
2. And also the cursor should be placed 2 steps away from the stumps and to the batsman's offside.
3. Now do not press the special delivery as soon as the bowler starts the run up.
4. As the bowler starts the run up, the batsman will walk towards the bowling cursor.
5. At this second, you have to press the special delivery. So when the batsman walks the cursor moves and it will be placed straight towards the stumps.
6. And when the ball is bowled, the stumps will be broken and you can easily take a wicket.
7.Another point to remember, if you bowl such deliveries in the powerplay , you get more wickets.

Please try this and let me know if its useful. If its helpful.. i can share the Other special delivery tricks and to bowl out the opponent.

The best option to bowl in this game is.. bowl all the balls as full toss. i.e place the cursor in between the 2 lines and have 2 slips. and also place the bowling cursor 2 steps away from the batsman on his offside. there will be some sixes which will be hit because of predictable length. but the batsman will choose for different strokes every ball which will always result in a wicket. Ive bowled out the computer side for just 3 runs in a match.

Helpful but another reason why this game is fundamentally flawed: can you do that in real cricket????

HI...

Info provided is certainly helpful. All this while, I have also graduated to another level with such deliveries. Though i was not sure with the 'Toe Crusher' usage... I somehow mastered my fast bowlers in taking wicket with the "Reverse Swinging" deliveries.

Bowling cursor on the yorker length... on 6th stump on off side... allow the batsman to move till he is right above the cursor... press the special delivery button..... Batsman wicket surely goes off for a toss :happy.

What I have observed further is that the bowler cant bowl such delivery continously. It has to be 'Alternate' deliveries to bowl such balls. And yes u r right that best period to bowl it is in Power Plays.

Also, when i had bowled a special delivery, i bowl a close o wide delivery on off side which also on most occassions yields wicket. I have taken FIVE in one over on many occassions. :)
