Stupid AI ruined my game...

So I sit down to play the final test of a 3 test series against SA. Tied at 1 test each. The conditions are wet and overcast, I win the toss so I bowl.

1st over to Harmison and on the 4th ball I bowl one, I take a bit of pace off, it nips in and smith plays a backfoot defensive, misses and I bowl him. Great start I think. However, 5.5 overs later Harmison and Hoggard have bowled SA out for 1, and that run was off a no ball. I havent cheated at all, Ive bowled as you're supposed to, but every player played a backfoot defensive, and the balls were not that short, and also we are in wet conditions here, and they all got bowled that way.

I'm very annoyed because its just poor AI. I was bowling the right line and length too, just outside or on off stumop, normal delivery or sometimes a bit of inswing, full pace and they missed them all. I feel a few forward defensive shots would have worked if they wanted to see off a few balls. Has anyone else had this? I've always hated people who post screen shots up here bragging about how they bowled Australia out for 0 with a medium bowler pitching a slow ball right up the pictch. But now Ive managed a smilar thing playing properly.

Im playing the match again and hopefully it will be different. They won the first test by scoring over 400 runs and it was only until they scored 150 that I got 2 wickets.

I have just installed Tutsis new patch, but surely that can't of contributed to this.

I know what you mean that is what I do its a bug in the Ai need to be fixed I know there are files out now but no one has told me how to install :-(

You can edit the pitch conditions to give the low pitches more bounce. You have to really or will always get, easy lame wickets like this. One of the reasons im doing a tour to the sub contient. I've only played on Dusty, Dry, and Normal wickets.

Also when conditions come up b4 a match you don't have to take them, just back track 2 screens then back forward again and most times it's diff conditions, it's what I do in my County season.

Yeah. The wet conditions should affect the way the game is played but not make a mockery of it :) Im replaying it anyhow with a hard pitch and overcast conditions, I lost the toss and am fielding, after 26 overs SA are 37/4. They are still playing poorly compared to the first 2 tests.
