Super over.... What just happened???

Hi guys, I was playing my career T20 match as a 2-down batsman in Melbourne Stars. It went to a tie and the super over was started with the opponents batting (Perth Scorchers). I was fielding at gully and pressed Y to simulate to career player. The next instant Perth was declared winners without a single ball being bowled in the super over based on count back(???). Event the super over score card showed no info on this.....

Can anybody explain this to me? Is this a bug? I am playing with the latest updates (v1.21)
