For all the pessimism of some of the Indians here, I want our team to reach the final, which we are so much capable of doing. We have never been that great a bowling side. We have had one or two good performers (like Zaheer, Srinath, etc) but the others keep things down to a minimum and the batsmen set/chase things down. Dravid and Sachin are in good form, and our toppers like Dhoni and Yuvraj have also got into the flow.

Chak De India! Win the cup for us... Especially for these pessimists!

The scores in practice games suggest flat tracks. Guess India will have to bowl first and depend on its batsman chasing down totals.

Yup, I can see a round 1 exit as well. Would love my prediction to be wrong but I don`t see that happening. Looking at the paucity of fast bowling options that we have,my bowling lineup would be Nehra/RP, Ishant, Mishra, Bhajji. In fact I don`t care who the 2 seamers are. All are bowling equally bad at the moment.
