Tech. Question? Arrows!!!!

Hello fellow cricket buffs,

I got a tech. question for you fellows. Hope someone can help me out. Just got the Cricket 2004 PC version last week. Installed in my computer and was trying to play. Went to the practice mode, but i am not able to use my arrows keys to make shots. Only thing I am able to do is frontfoot/backfoot defence. No other strokes. I tried to the button "s or w" and the arrow keys. nothing happens. If i try to press them together, the batsman leaves the ball. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can somebody please help me. Really looking forward to play the game.

Hold the arrows down for shot direction, press front/back foot to play shot

When i tried that, the batsman is just leaving every delivery. He is not offering any shots atall.

I am not sure whether this is your problem. But, if you are using the number pad arrows, it will not work. You have to use the 'real' arrow keys.

Do you have 'num lock' or 'pad lock' on when you are playing?
