Sign Up Now!

Welcome to Tennis World. This'd be the best place for all the tennis lovers on PC.net to hang out.

What is Tennis World?:

Tennis World is a virtual tennis tournament, to be simmed on PC.net. We'll have members signing up here and the tournament will commence. It won't just be a single tournament, but might be followed by others. If the response is good, we might include several Tennis Open tournaments, followed by Davis Cup.

Format:

The PC members will register and the matches will be simmed. Announcements about the next tournament and its format will be declared. I won't disclose the sim which will be used. Let the suspense prevail :p
Based on the performances, players will be either promoted or demoted to groups.
Salaries will exist for members which will be given for each match, at the end of the tournament(s). Salaries will be in the form of Virtual Cash

Salaries:

The starting salary for each player will be $500 per match. As mentioned earlier, they'll be altered based on the personal performances. The minimum salary is $100 per match.
At the end of a tournament, a player can exchange the virtual cash for vCash or keep it with himself to utilize for the further tournaments.

For exchange: 300 Virtual Cash: 10 vCash

Performance:

The performances will highly depend on the player preferences. It'll depend on the preferred surface, form, practice sessions, skills, activity and how well equipped one is. Players can purchase equipments from the virtual cash they earn. They can also engage in some practice sessions to increase their skills paying the virtual cash.

Detailed information will be out soon.

Thanks Shan and Brendon.
We need to have at least 8 Members for the first tournament to begin.

I'll preferably aim to have 16! :)

All the tournaments will be at an individual (personal) level, but, for Davis Cup (as the country is represented), the nation selected for a member will be the actual one. Custom nation selection is not allowed.

So, according to that, Brendon Hegder will play for Australia in the Davis Cup and Shantanu Ambekar for India.

Continue the sign ups people :D

Norway's biggest tennis sensation since... since... ever.

Edit: WAT!!! I WANT TO REPRESENT NORWAY.

Dude, I am sorry but you cannot represent Norway.
You'll have to stick up with Australia.

If there is some problem, like, too many players from a specific nations, you'll be given Norway.

I hope its fine with you. :)

Alright then, I give you Norway.
Each player can select a country from now, its not mandatory to represent the actual nation to which you belong. I hope its fine.

And Blake, I'll keep your name as Ol?v Kr?sti?nssen.
Bazza Bushfire doesn't sound good :p
