The BLIC Bat Project

Calling all C2k5 Bat Makers BLIC needs you. I intend to put together a simular bat pack for BLIC as for c2k5. Hopefully by the time it has been made and released someone will have figured out how to assign bats in unlicensed mode.
Unlike C2k5 we only get 46 bats (45 if we leave the Classic bat in). The question then arises of which bats to use. I know that jk16_4 has thought about which ones are best to use for C2k5 so we could also use them for BLIC. Remember also that the following bats are already ingame or have been made:

Duncan Fearnley (6 of them)
Gray Nicolls (6 of them)
Hunts County (6 of them)
Newbury (6 of them)
Slazenger (5 of them)
Kookaburra (6 of them)
GM (5 of them)
MRF Wizard
GN Predator
Puma Classic Orange
Woodworm - not sure but definitely some

Therefore we need a list and for people to start making them. Here is what a BLIC bat looks like for anyone who is unsure:

Adding bats may be difficult. At the moment, the default bat and classic bat are easily replaced (I over wrote with the Puma Classic and a Woodworm Torch). Then you have to assign them in game to players (will be easy when the editor arrives).

Adding more though... In the bat list 13 is free...? Or you have to overwrite one of the existing sets.

You could overwrite one of the more uncommonly used sets (newbury or duncun fearnley) and add a miscellanious selction of bats (probably best from africa and asia as most others are represented.

The Morrant bats do not appear selectable for players in licensed mode. I have only seen them as random bats in exhibition mode. They may have a code (so they could be overwritten too) but I don't think anyone knows it yet.

The other option may be to increase the number of slots in replace.bag, but that is probably not possible..

I've been overwriting the Morrants and DF's and assigning them. I was planning on dropping a lot of the pre-made bats and putting in different ones. If we could add it would be great but overwriting would be fine otherwise.

Assigning bats in unlicensed mode is impossible, as far as I can tell.

I tried last night by replacing every bit of data from Brian Lara over Andrew Flintoff, except the name and player ID.

When I played a match, the bat was a random one.

It must be that a random bat is assigned for everyone except RP and BL.

There must be a way though of tricking the game into believing that world series or simular are licensed. Like you say though, nothing as simple as a byte unfortunately.

If you replace the id of a player with that of BL or RP they will play with BL ot RP bat in unlicensed mode. Changing the bat byte though will not make any difference. Already tried that one guys!

Guys, i would love to make bats and stuff for BLIC but i dont the game

also, i cant download the demo as my connection is a bit slow.

i have completed making 2GB batpack V2 and have chosen the BEST BATS FOR C2k5 as colin said above. any problem and u can refer the batpack.

also, my questions are WHY CANT WE USE BATS IN THE UNLICENSED MODES ??
HOW MANY BATS ARE SEEN IN UNLICENSED MODES ??
and Which Bats have been made by patchers or yet to make.

Also Give me All the names of Bats available in BLIC

I am making a few bats. Got a blank one at the moment but still need the hex codes for the Morrant bats. I had a quick try with 2B etc but they showed as kookaburas. If you know roughly what their codes are, even that will help as I will work them out individually in game..
