Cricket Australia's CEO and Chairman of Selectors Michael Hussey had a chat with the media after the annoucnement.

MEDIA: Are you very confident about the new squad?
MH: Yes we are, we both feel that this side has so much potential.
MN: The experience in this side is fairly decent so we assume they will be able to play up to expectations.
MEDIA: Do you both think that this squad could bring Australia's winning records from back in early 2000's back on track?
MHWithout doubt, over the break, we have worked extremely hard coaching the players and they all feel extremely confident.
MEDIA: Marcus, have you spoken to captain Dean Sherr about the squad and certain things you want happening? Also is he confident about beating England in the upcoming Ashes?
MN: Yes I have, and he is very confident. He also has some plans up his sleeve which he will be working with his squad.
MEDIA: Michael, do you reckon this squad can beat the likes of Ricky Ponting's men back in 2007?
MH: Well its hard to say. It depends on how these guys go, but I am sure everyone will be judging after the Ashes series and Carlton Drought OD Series is Completed.
MEDIA: Thanks to both of you for this press release

Stay Tuned as the English squad for the Ashes will be annoucned soon. Along with the new Australian Sponsors
