Welcome to a new series I will be creating on my channel, as well as in updating in this forum here. After the incident in Cape Town, Australia have had a very different approach to dealing with the team and the players in South Africa at the time. Watch this trailer to find out what has happened, and hints into the future of this series.
3 minutes of your time and I hope you all enjoy!

Nice effort I like the story aspect to your video instead of just lets playing a match/series. Reminds me of the old cricket stories forum from back in the day :(

The 2018 tour of England begins with a practice match against Sussex.
Who will perform and put their hand up for selection for the first ODI vs England?

Australia's tour matches have finishes and we now look to the ODI series starting soon against England
Who put their hand up for selection in the tour matches, and who do we predict will make up Australia's XI in the first ODI?

Good game that. I see those edges that fly to the boundary are still in cricket 22 same as in cricket 19.

The 2nd ODI between England and Australia was dominated by Glenn Maxwell, as Australia looked to take 2-0 lead in the series.
Will they achieve that, or will England bounce back and level the series?

Jhye Richardson out for the remainder of tour with side strain! Australia look to claim series win at Trent Bridge.
The man that many have believed will lead the Australian attack in the near future, Jhye Richardson, has been ruled out of the remainder of the One Day tour with a side strain. Following his 3rd over in the second ODI vs England on the 16th of June 2018, he walked off the field after hunching over in pain after the last ball of his spell. Jhye Richardson would not be seen on the field again for the remainder of the match, and it has now been confirmed that he will fly home to start his rehabilitation of the side strain. Jason Behrendorff has been flown in to cover Richardson, but is not expected to take the field and make his ODI debut in the 3rd ODI.

While his injury didn't hinder the Australians ability to rip through the English batting lineup, eventually bundling the English out for 249 to win the 2nd ODI by 74 runs. The series has been far from what anyone expected, especially after the extremely embarrassing performances Australia had shown in their warmup matches vs Sussex and Middlesex. They have bounced back brilliantly with a stunning 1 wicket win in the first ODI followed by this absolutely dominant performance in the 2nd, spearheaded by superstar Glenn Maxwell.

The Australian's will be taking immense confidence heading into the 3rd ODI, however the English will be boosted by the return of their captain Eoin Morgan for this match. England will now need to perform a reverse whitewash to win the series, a feat which has only been achieved 3 times in 5 match ODI series in all of ODI history.

If England are to find the ability to achieve this, they need to improve substantially on both their batting and bowling, with Australia being able to achieve large scores in both matches (9/297 and 322) and being unable to bat out 50 overs in both matches. While they have taken 19 wickets in 2 games, the amount of runs that have been leaked by their bowlers is simply not good enough if they are to achieve a reverse sweep of this series. Expect the axe to be swung in the batting department, as well as the bowling department, especially with Eoin Morgan returning. Alarm bells will be ringing in England's World Cup charge if they were to lose the next match, becoming 3-0 down in the series, to an extremely depleted and morally hurt Australian side.

England are 1 game away from a complete catastrophe, Australia are one game away from one of their greatest ODI series wins ever.

England look to start their reverse sweep of the series in the 3rd ODI, while Australia will be looking to close out the series...

Records Tumble as England annihilate Australia to get their first win of the series.
England were able to achieve a feat that many would have thought was nearly impossible when ODI cricket was first brought into the world. 450 runs in 50 overs. After Liam Plunkett flicked the last ball of England's allotted overs for 4, England's final tally would read 8/450. This score would break their own record of 444/3 that was set vs Pakistan in 2016 for the highest ODI team score. The most fascinating statistic of all is that despite the mammoth total set up by England, no player scored a century, however 6 players would pass fifty. Roy (75), Bairstow (69), Root (69), Buttler (57), Ali (53*) and Tom Curran (57) all passed 50 and all achieved this at over a run a ball. A complete team performance, with only Hales and Morgan missing out on 50 from England's top 8 batsmen. It's the first time in ODI history that 6 batsmen have recorded 50+ scores in a single innings.

Australia would eventually be bundled out for 260 in response, with Alex Carey blasting an impressive 82 from just 53 deliveries. Australia's 260 would see them fall 190 runs short of the mammoth English total. This is Australia's 3rd heaviest defeat in ODI's by runs, and England's largest victory over Australia in ODI history. Australian bowlers were departed to all parts but no figures looked worse than the ones seen for Kane Richardson (1/102) and Andrew Tye (1/112). Andrew Tye's figures are now the 2nd worst in ODI history, with Kane Richardson slotting into the equal 9th worst figures in ODI history.

The Australians will have taken a massive confidence hit in their bowling department, especially after such spectacular performances on batter friendly wickets in the first 2 matches. The question is do they make a massive amount of changes? Or do they stick to with Richardson and Tye despite their figures this match? Billy Stanlake is yet to make an appearance this series and Jason Behrendorff has just been flown in to cover Jhye Richardson. Could we see a debut for Behrendorff in the next match in the series? Will Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye keep their positions in the side? The only positive that can be taken from this match is that their batting is still looking strong and confident. Despite only accomplishing a score of 260, they did so in 32.2 overs, which is just over 8 runs an over. No side is expected to maintain such a high run rate and bat 50 overs... despite what England have just shown us. This is an anomaly, and don't expect England to come out and smash another 400+ plus score in the 4th ODI.

We head to Chester with Australia still leading the series 2-1, but having been completely thrashed in the last fixture. The series feels evenly poised, but England have taken their first steps in reverse sweeping the series and made a massive statement while they were at it.

List of records broken in the 3rd ODI:

1. Most 50+ Scores in and ODI innings. (6)
2. Highest ever ODI score (450)

3. Australia's 3rd heaviest defeat by runs in ODI's (190)
4. England's largest victory over Australia by runs in ODI's (190)
5. 2nd Worst bowling figures in ODI history (1/112 - Andrew Tye)
6. 9th Worst Bowling figures in ODI history (1/102 - Kane Richardson)

The 4th ODI is finally on the channel!
An apology is due for the massive delay to get this one out, but I have been sick and also busy in real life, so unfortunately fell behind schedule.
Another apology for some reason the sound in the first 2 minutes is just gone, and irrecoverable.
Here it is - England vs Australia 4th ODI

Buttler ton carries England to victory in final ODI.

While the series had already been decided when the 5th ODI started on Sunday, England were able to bring it all together and have a fantastic display to grab their second victory of the series. However it wasn't all smooth sailing and when England faltered to 5/108, after Alex Hales was run out by Marcus Stoinis, you would be forgiven for thinking Australia were cruising to another victory on the tour. That was until David Willey combined with Jos Buttler to have a 132 run partnership for the 7th wicket as Buttler struck 112 (97) before being runout in a the final over, while Willey carried his bat until the end with an unbeaten 69 off 52 balls. England final total would be 7/328.

When Australia walked out to bat Aaron Finch and Peter Handscomb had guided Australia to 1/68 off the powerplay overs, with Wade only making 1(6). However three quick wickets turned Australia's 1/71 into 4/80. Handscomb and Maxwell put together an 80 run partnership to fight back into the contest, but when they were both dismissed it was all but over for the Australians. England would eventually bundle Australia out for 241 and win the match by 87 runs.

Summary.JPG

Glenn Maxwell was judged as player of the series for his 202 runs at an average of 40.4 and a strike rate of 129, as well as his 8 wickets with an average of 18.5.

Despite Australia winning the series, Jos Buttler (252) and Jason Roy (248) were the leading run scores for the series, with Aaron Finch (216) coming in third overall.

Liam Plunkett was the leading wicket taker in the series despite only playing 4 matches. He took 13 wickets at an average of 17.85. Adam Zampa was the leading wicket taker for Australia with an 11 wickets at an average of 25.09.

Australian captain Aaron Finch said post-match:
"This series has taught us a lot of things about ourselves, but most importantly that we can still win, even with the players we are missing, we are still capable of winning games of cricket. Every player in this series did their part, and it's fantastic to see that the culture JL (Justin Langer) is attempting to build has already taken its affect."

The next task for this Australian side if 1 off T20 against England at Edgbaston. They will be looking to win that match and claim the entire tour for themselves.

Side-note: I accidentally deleted the footage for this match and the T20 so will just be doing reports like this... there is a fair chance I may continue doing it this way as it is very time consuming editing down those games.

Australia plan 2 intrasquad matches to prepare for the UAE tour.

Australian coach Justin Langer has announced that 24 Australian players will participate in 2 Intrasquad matches to be held at the SCG to prepare for the tour of the UAE.

The Australians will have a far different squad than the one that last played test cricket, due to the 11 banned players from Cape Town. Cameron White will captain the new look Australia side in the UAE, with Matthew Wade as his deputy.

However the two will be on opposite sides when Wade’s XII take on White’s XII in the first intrasquad match to be held between 24th-28th of August 2018.

“It will be a brilliant chance for the guys to build comradery, and also develop their skills in a high pressure situation. There are 24 blokes in this squad, and only 16 of them will make it on the plane, the competition will be fierce” - Matthew Wade

Cameron White understands it will be difficult for Australian cricket fans to feel the ability to support this team after their actions in Cape Town, but are hoping that the ODI series victory in England will help revitalize the fans.

“Of course, cricket fans, especially in Australia will be extremely disappointed about what has happened in Cape Town, but this is a new look team, and new look coach, and most importantly a new culture.” - Cameron White

Batsmen Dominate Day 1 at the SCG

Victorian Pair, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell dominate day 1, as Jake Weatherald makes a surprise claim for the opening batsmen position with a 50 to his name.

Matthew Wade won the toss and elected to bat, and his team would finish the day 6/323. However it wasn't smooth sailing as Marcus Harris was dismissed in the 2nd over of the day by tearaway Jhye Richardson. Jake Weatherald and Glenn Maxwell would than launch a stunning counterattack of a partnership before a terrible mixup led to the runout of Weatherald just before the lunch interval.

Later in the day it would be Aaron Finch and newly announced test vice captain Matthew Wade who would again put a stunning partnership together, with Wade eventaully falling to another disappointing runout for 57. Finch would finish the day 87* and is looking to make a big claim to snare a top order position in the Test match side for the tour of UAE.

On the bowling side of things it was Jhye Richardson who led the attack with 2/48 off 14 overs, while Fawad Ahmed would also claim 2 wickets, as he prepares to possibly lead Australia's spin attack against his nation of birth, Pakistan. Siddle and Neser were unable to pick up wickets, despite bowling 46 overs between them.
