The patch - Now the game won't start!

OK I downloaded the patch for SWC that fixes wides and all that, installed it and now the game won't start!! I use the first Direct 3D button...maybe there is a problem with that?? SOmeone please help!!

try the following:

1.get your latest video card drivers.{see http://www.winfiles.com if you don't have the website of your manufacturer}.If you don't know much about your video card please use system information which is provided with win 98 and above.

2.If the above solution does'nt fix the problem try playing in software mode.

3.Un-install abnd re-install the game WITHOUT the patch...se if it works properly under your original settings.
