Thread of Appreciation And Gratitude to the Office Bearers of PlanetCricket

I wanted to create this thread long ago but I got some free time today. So let express our gratitude towards the people working for the betterment and smooth running of the site. The people who workout taking some time out of their schedule for purely entertaining us.

Now let me first start with the people who are working behind scenes tirelessly for the good working of the site:

Administrators:
MattW:
The backbone of the site by a country mile! Just take a bow man. Starting with the cricket 07 Overlays to developing a web application/working at Big Ant. He's just a top skilled person. Never forget he administers the site after all this.

Gaurav: The one who just contributed a lot, working behind the scenes for the pure entertainment of us. The PCPL 4, 5, 6 would never have been possible without his great commitment.

Abhas:
A guy who is technical expert work working in technical operation of the site alongside Matt and doing other admins' commitments.

IceAgeComing:
He is more like a civil kind of person who deals with problems/issues as quick as possible. He was promoted from staff to admin for his work in the staff team in just one year which itself shows how good he is.

Aussie1st:

Haven't seen him much active these days but he has the most number of posts on the site which sumps up he's contributed a lot to the forum and I'm sure he'd be doing something behind the scenes for the betterment of the site for now as well.

The Moderating Team

Now let me talk about the ones who are working as the staff members dedicating their time to moderate forums keeping this forums spam free, guiding new members, keeping rules and regulations of the forums.

Most of the staff are active namely VC the slogger, The Author, The Punisher, SnowyCassanova ,SpitfiresKent, CaptainCremer, Simon, Aggz and many more, just can't write all those in one post. All of them are great contributors of the site and are such a great souls to spend some time with (online) Almost all are friendly, dedicated and deserve each ones gratitude.

vCash is the virtual cash of the site used to purchase things from vCash shop and used in cricket leagues forums. To get/earn these vCash, we have Sportsbook and Fantasy Cricket in place. The people running these two sections of site are really worth appreciation


The Sportsbook staff:

Sodium:
The only Sportsbookie to be engaged in Sports book for more than 2 years. It is very difficult to handle the Sportsbook alone that too during events like IPL, BBL, ICC tournaments, CPL and more.. He has done it alone without any rewards. It is very difficult to my knowledge as I've been in the team for nearly 4 months alongside him.

themusketeer:
He has been a standout performer in all the sections I must say. From fantasy cricket to sportsbook to staff.

SinghB has also done a great job in the past and I hope he does it further.

Early for asprin but I'm sure he'll do a great job as well.

The Fantasy Cricket Team:

Starting out with the first of it's score operators themusketeer and swacker, these two guys started the 'new' Fantasy Cricket program beautifully! They have done a great job before themusketeer being busy with his higher studies.

Tarzan/Sam/SixerBoy11: Tarzan & Sam have done a splendid job back since they were appointed. SixerBoy11 was as quick as the flashing of the lightning for the time being he was in charge of! Sadly he too moved out of country for studies leaving the work.

CerealKiller & zwarrior: Not a long time since their induction but these two are as fast as an arrow and I hope and believe they'll continuing the awesome work.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all the people working for the entertainment and fun for us free of cost taking some time out of their packed schedules! I'd like other members to post their views too!​

Im only new to the site but loving the community feel.

I played dbc14 for nearly 2 years on Xbox with no patches or creations as i wasn't online set up imagine my excitement when realising all of this with dbc17 on xbox1.

This web site has facilitated my being to interact with fellow cricket fans and good people in general so thanks to all involved for setting up and running this site

Thanks for the kind words. But I reckon @The Author's omission from that list is far more scandalous given everything he has done in the leagues section. From helping newer members by starting that dummies thread, to running and presenting leagues better than anybody I know of, and most importantly spreading awareness about associate & affiliate cricket in the leagues section which was basically non-existent prior to his arrival. I just can't get how someone can miss all that.

In fairness, since I started my job last September, then went travelling, then did uni, I've been pretty inactive. I would quite like to get back to running leagues, but my most recent attempts have all been scuppered by real life.

All I can say is, people involved in the site's running , may it be Admins, Staff, SB team or FC team, all have done and are doing absolutely great work.

All of them are great contributors and it is a great thought of creating a thread to speak a few words and appreciate them for their work and showing our gratitude towards them.
