Timing

Does anyone here actually manage to time there sots perfectly? By that I mean press ALL the right buttons at the same time. Im finding it impossible to press SHOT and DIRECTION keys all at the same time. All my shots just end up as defensive not make what shot Im trying to play.

You don't have to try and hit all the keys at exactly the same time

Try pressing direction keys BEFORE you play the shot. So choose direction based on where the ball is pitching and hold the direction key/s until you play your front- or back-foot shot.

Shots

if u apply any patch on the game then its hard to play shots, cuz all patches comes with different shots and timing, so as u change the patches ur shots timing has also to be changed, play with only one patch and then u will be a good player to play all shots, and then try other one.

Once they stop letting you move the player (when the bowler starts his run), you can just hold on to the direction key from then on. Press the shot button only for your timing.

I think a net session could be useful to learn how to time the ball.

In the manual they seem to suggest that to produce a perfect shot you DO have to press all the buttons at the right time.

People are mis interpreting the manual....... they have put it like that so that people dont press the direction, let go of the direction, then play their shot....... they could have worded it a bit better though

ya, u have press the direction keys before(maybe 1-2 secs) before u press the frontfoor/backfoot or whatver keys.
