Over 500 runs :laugh. What a load of crap. Okay, they were hard done by in a few instances but 500 runs? Get real.
 
500 runs :eek: He wa lost his mind. He is anyway a rubbish captain, Jaywardane should immidiate take the charge once agian.

Actually, you cannot make any prediction about the future with any certainty whatsoever. For example, you don't know that the rest of his team wouldn't have collapsed around him leaving him stranded, do you? Secondly, Dilshan's highest score of 168 (which came against Bangladesh, and incidentally 4 of his top 5 centuries have come against Bang/Zim) suggests that he really isn't one for long innings.

You can complain about a dismissal, like Sanga has done, but to suggest that a batsman would add x amount of runs is just clutching for straws. No one knows how many runs a batsman would have scored.

That's true, but I think he was indicating what can happen when a chance is given or not given. Wasn't Sehwag dropped at slip on his way to 293? Anyway, that's the way I interpreted it.
 
Agreed that they were at the end of a couple of bad decisions,but Sanga is clearly acting foul. 500 rns an lot of wickets is too huge an assumption.
 
For the T20's Zaheer is rested,Ashok Dinda (who plays for KKR in IPL), Tyagi they have given chance,lets see...

Harbhajan is also rested and R. Ashwin (off spinner, allrounder) has been brought in. Hope atleast one of Dinda or Ashwin gets an India debut in T20. Both are useful with the bat and have been good performers with the ball in domestic circuit.

Actually, that's the other way around. You can tell how many runs a batsman scores after being given a reprieve that allows them to continue batting because you have access to that information (since the batsman scored those runs). However, one has no knowledge of what would have transpired if a batsman is given out incorrectly.

Badri is`nt a player who we should waste in T20s. He is test cricket material. Playing him in T20s will only give the BCCI the oppurtunity they`ve been waiting for to write him off as a cricketer.
