Reaction
Fine warm-up match for us. Piled on the runs for two days, a fine knock by Malik. Then destroyed them on a flat pitch. Unlucky to not win but 6 wickets in a session with 40 minutes lost was a tall order. Nazir looks a fine bowler and Arafat is in good touch with the ball. A good start to the tour...

Not tooi happy at all. Poor bowling in the first innings and then we batted poorly. We were 7 runs of getting past the follow on score but we failed to get those last 7 runs for 3 wickets. We then decided to start playing as Misbah hit 71 and Iqbal made 63. The big contributors to the batting was Alam and Afridi though. Alam made 137* from 108 but Afridi was the big hitter, notching 106* off 68 balls. Incredible. Leicestershire then crumbled under the surprise pressure as they skittled out for 58 runs. Ahmed got brilliant figures of 4-9 and Afridi, who got his man of the match award, also got 3-15. A good end the match but we started incredibly poor. Only second XI to be honest though so no doubts that my team can beat England.

Reaction
A bloody fantastic result. They may be crap, but that doesn't mean they usually let international players make 396! Afridi was sensational, really pushing on after a slow first 100 to finishing with only 407 balls faced. He mucked up big time though when he missed a straight one 4 short of a quadruple century! What a wasted 396 lol :p Then he has the cheek to miss out on two hattrick opportunities. Dispite that he still takes 5 for 10 in 4 overs! Arafat played well with 147 as did Misbah with a hundred also. Inzi failed again...

Reaction
More like it. We won the toss and chose to bowl first. A great choice by me I must say as Afridi and Nazir totally dominated. Afridi getting 4 wickets and Nazir getting 3 wickets. Nice to see all my other three bowlers picking up a wicket as well. Then it was our time to bat. Moin Khan and Misbah Ul-Haw opened the innings again for us and both duly delivered with the bat. Misbah made 62 and Moin made 54. Nisar came and went, making 37 in the process, until it was time of Iqbal and Alam. A 106 run partnership ended with Iqbal going for 73 runs. Alam then batted with the tail before falling as the last wicket, for 147 runs. Great batting. 469 the total; 300 exactly the chase. Combined Univs got nowhere near the total, skittling out for 147. Nazir and Afridi once again the big bowlers. All in all a very comfortable win. Kudos to the players.

Reaction
Crap! Shoddy batting and not great bowling. Lacked that instinct to finish off their lower order. Top and lower order was rubbish both times with the bat. Misbah played well but that's about it. Oh, Arafat was good with the ball as well. Apart from those two, we were very poor.

jaztheman will win for sure because the present situation is in favour of him.

Brilliant stuff. Batting pitch and that shows as both teams batted supremely. A great start to the match with big innings. Khan made 131, Yousuf made 119* and Afridi made 102* off 112. They all contributed massively to the final score of 566 but there were some little efforts. Nisar on his test match debut made 94 whilst Inzi made 49. It was then our turn to bowl and it all went so well apart from Trescothick. A great innings from him of 193 gifted England a total of 451. Afridi being the best bowler with 4-139. We then batted as quickly as we could and made a very quick 279/8 dec. Yousuf made 56 and Nisar, on his debut, made his second 50. Two test 50's on your test debut! Remarkable. Alam, who was also on his debut, made 41 nearing his first 50. England managed not to get all out in the one and a half sessions they had left. 216/3 their score, Michael Vaughan only just missing out on his 100. Ahmed got 2-37 and Afridi 1-56 as the bowlers seemed a little disappointing. A decent and close start to the Test series. More of this please.

Back on it again with a fine batting display against Northants. Iqbal was in superb touch as was Misbah. Asif came in and did well and will most likely keep his place for the 2nd test. Rogers' 169* kept them in the game and without him they would have lost. So a good performance overall!

A good start from us in the bowling as Nazir and Akhtar took apart Northants and if it wasn't for their top scoring batsmen then they would of had not many runs at all. Then it was our turn to bat and we made the most of it as usual. Younis Khan hit 249 and that is the highest individual knock under me. A terrific knock. Akmal supporetd him well with and just fell short of his 100 whilst Mahmood had to try his best to keep up but still managed 84. We declared on 566 but we did not have enough time left to bowl them out. We kept them down to 126 but could only get 6 of the 10 wickets required. Asif, Kaneria and Nazir all got 2 wickets in a great attempt to get the win but it was not enough. A great effort by the lads, and a great show put on.
