England's preparations for the second test at Faisalabad have been thrown into tumult by the news that captain Michael Vaughan has been arrested by police after a dramatic high speed chase thru the streets of Faislabad today.

Speaking exclusively to TSNs criminal reporter Amirpp Khan and on condition of absolute anonymity , the police spokesman Jaggu Bad Mash said that Vaughan had been spotted by ever vigilant guards near the hotel used by the English team. As Vuaghan refused to respond to repeated offical calls of "Oi - ithoon aa" [translation: Please dear Sir, can you approach me politely], the police had no option but to chase them in their newly acquired high speed boots.

Vaughan finally stopped at the local cricket stadium where he pretended to be a member of some visiting cricket squad.
