TV Series General Discussion

Watched I'm A Virgo and enjoyed it a lot. Only seven short episodes.

If you've seen Sorry To Bother You, it's by the same director. Surreal, funny, absurd but with some deep messaging woven in.

It is ironic, that two of the TV shows (The Boys being the other) that are more critical of corporations and capitalism are on Amazon though. Like Jeff Bezos is trolling everyone.

Bezos absolutely is trolling everyone. He bought the rights to Expanse and is a massive fan of it despite one of the main villains for the first three and a half seasons being the type of person Bezos likely would be in that type of setting.

Andor was also extremely critical of multiple things that you could indirectly accuse Disney of. Seems like these big corporations want to have their cake and eat it too.

Just started watching Psych (accidentally ended up watching the last episode first). How on earth did I miss this show before? It’s awesome.

Goosebump has been amazing!

I currently watching this Netflix Indian series call Kaala Paani, Watched 2 episodes and it's really good so far.
It has been great so far. Something different from the Indian market, not the usual bull crap!

Anyone been watching Gen V (or whatever it's called), The Boys spin-off?
It was OK at best. Some character arcs felt rushed and the acting was two steps below The Boys. Unless you are really into The Boys' universe or want a half-assed parody of X-Men, I'd say it's not worth a watch.
