Delighted to be doing well with the ball in a test match only to get to 90 overs and not be offered a new ball?! I thought hmmmmmmm....bit dodgy? has anyone identified this before?

Yes it seems a bug. Im not sure wether the new ball gets taken automatically or it just doesnt offer it to you. Out of 6 test matches i have only been offerd the new ball twice after 90 overs. Very annoying! Hopefully someone knows a work around.

Yeah, in Cricket 2004 there was the new ball.
I don't know why Cricket 2005 is taking a step back in some aspects of the game.

(eg. all players the same size)

You mean all guerilla like. The player models would do very well for a wrestling game. I hate this aspect. C2004 for me thanks. I might buy BLIC later.

On the size issue, its the fact you can't get bowlers of different height. So you get Darren Gough with the same bounce as Steve Harmison.
The actual 'looking like rugby players' isn't a issue, but the height most definitely is.

Very true Stevie, a littel definition would be nice. However in cricket 2004 the difference was silly. Geraint jones was a midget lol ! !

Do you think the player models were taken from Rugby 2005?
It is a great possibility.
