 Hi fellas,
Would be great if you can help me out on this.I've loaded Cricket 2004 in my pc..When I run the game..the intro screen starts..and it then the 'loading.....' screen appears..after this it switches back to the desktop.Checking ou thr help document,I initially thought that this had something to do with my video card which was just 8mb...so I replaced it with a 64 mb card.It supports directx too(I have direct x 9)..But again I am facing the same problem..
I am running the game on win 98..128mb RAM and lots of hard disk space..Would really appreciate any help on this...Thanks....

also do you have win 98 SE (second edition) as the requirements clearly state you need either win 98SE or 2000 or Xp (95/98 not supported).

Hi...yes..I have a win 98(se) and I used directx8.1 that in the cd comes along with cricket 2004... :helpme:

And also..I've tried with directx 9.0b..but the problem exists....

where have you bought it from or should i say where do you live if you are in india or pakistan loads of games are copied and are cheaper thats the reason there quality is poor and sometimes they dont work properly. I bought mine from pak luckily it worked. mine idnt at the first place but then thre was a folder called Razor11 so i went on it and it worked

Try updating your graphics crad(video card) drivers by getting the latest ones from the manufacturer site.

Do you have a non pirated cd? If you don't then as hassan1823 said that might be the problem. Else update your card drivers as Pat said. if you still seem to have a problem try it on someone else's comp and see if it works. if it doesn't well you should ask for a replacement. i can't think of anything else that could be the problem.

oh there's one more thing. what settings are you trying to run the game at? maybe you should try running it first at the lowest settings (640x480 16bit resolution, no forceLOD etc).

Update GFX Card drivers, 98 isn't so good for gaming, time to upgrade to XP.

Well i think you should play the game in screen resolution 640 x 480 and minimum pixels low force lod no pitch detail and it`ll work..try it !!!!!

Yeah, i feel for you, i had same kind of problem. But i was able to solve my problem through buying a new computer with a 256MB 9600XT!

My cd didn't have a folder called razor11 since it is original with box.
I susupect u have been cheated and yours is pirated cricket 2004.
One of my games is similar to yours and has a similar folder. But I should not be discussing about it here.
