Well done to these boys and the gentleman of Cricket, Rahul Dravid! It was a completely dominating performance, not one game was close. India were ruthless each time they stepped on the field giving the opposition no chance whatsoever!

This world cup wins more as Rahul Dravid was involved. Just goes to show how we fans respect gentlemen of cricket. Australia were completely out of sorts except Merlo's 76. This is a fantastic win and goes to show the talent we have. Where are the haters now? @FireAndBlood ?

What else to expect? India are by far the wealthiest board so they can develop young talent, Dravid is the coach for crying out loud! Poor boards, even the Aussies/Eng are unable to finance development on the scale as India.

Extraordinary win for India! A ruthless performance throughout the tournament! Have unearthed quite a few exciting stars that should hopefully be destined for greater things in the coming years. Well NO! Actually Dravid has positioned himself in the right place, sitting at the feeder system that supplies talent to Indian cricket (i.e. senior team). We need Dravid to stay there and work with the youngsters and hone their talent and attitude/temperament before they get sucked into the big bad world of senior cricket. Shastri needs to be replaced, but not with Dravid.

Great win by the India Under 19 team. It is fantastic to see what great talent that has been produced, in fast bowlers like Mavi and NagarkotI able to clock beyond 140, and talented batsmen like Gill and Shaw. Can't wait to see what they can do for the Indian team in the years to come. Excellent win, dominated the opposition through out. I think Dravid is the man to lead these talented kids, with his wealth of experience. He has put them in a good spot and it's simply fantastic to see that they have the potential to be great cricketers.

However, Dravid should stick to U-19 coaching. He is the best possible guy to coach the young players and I don't think he should be replaced by Shastri just yet. Considering his great job and the fact other good coaches such as Tom Moody unfortunately keep missing out to buffoons like Shastri.

How good it'd have been to have Dravid handle the feeder system of Indian cricket and Anil Kumble handle the finished products as part of the senior team. It was turning out to be a lethal combination until a Kohli came in and spoiled al the plans. I am waiting for the day when Kohli either steps down from his halo or gets to the point where there are other better captaincy options and he is not needed as captain anymore, so that Anil can come back to coach the side.

When he left, he just said that he could not continue any further because his relationship with the captain has become untenable. I did not hear him say anywhere that he would not return back to coaching at all.

He didn't, but his sacking was ungraceful and I doubt he would risk something like that again.
