Where are people thinking of going/definatley going to Uni next year? Also, what are you thinking of studying?

Or, if your at Uni now, what are you studying?

To start, I've been provisionally accepted to Brighton and will be doing a sport journalism course.

3rd year in Mechanical Engineering :)

Don't worry Blinky I got my car towed and a 180 bill to get it out, along with a $40 bill for parking on the footpath :p

My first day of Uni was interesting. We went around the city and our Uni completing tasks related to my course (in the format of 'The Amazing Race', a TV show). It takes roughly 25 minutes to arrive there (Uni) by tram, however the trams are usually late - so 45 minutes is more realistic. I'm going to Swinburne Uni because other Unis such as Melbourne and Monash are too traditional and they don't provide the same quality of teaching and facilities as my current one does. The course I am studying is called Professional Software Development (min 3 years, max 5 years).

I go to Central Lancs and study Sports Journalism

I love Uni, you will have a blast Sam.

I might be doing Computer Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering. And I wanna go to BITS Planning

BITS here in Dubai? Anyways we do not have aeronautical engineering.

Currently we have only:
Electronics and Electrical Engg (EEE)
Electronics and Instrumentation Engg (EIE)
Computer Science Engg (CSE)
Mechanical Engg (ME)
Chemical Engg (CME)
Civil Engg (CVE)

Also we will be shifting from our Knowledge Village Campus to Academic City wherein we will have the largest campus in the entire UAE. Its still under construction at the moment but is something grand in the making.

I'm doing geology and geography in a BSc, not sure which im going to major in yet. And for those wondering whether you should go to uni or not, I say give it a go, I found uni much more interesting than high school.

Aeronautical engineering is extremely difficult. Here in Sydney you need a UAI (University Admission Index) 99.95 IIRC which only a very few get, probably under 100.
