Making this thread to post random XIs I make with random restrictions/purposes. I've been a big fan of making various kinds of random lineups when I'm bored and I'll be posting all those here- All time XIs, XIs for upcoming tours and twisted/custom XIs like what I'll be doing now

To begin with, I got the idea of picking Continental XIs for T20Is by running a random wheel to choose the nation for each spot in the XI (Yes, this is the kind of stuff I'll be doing here). And here are my lineups, picking the most ideal player in the context of the XI from whatever nation has been chosen for each position from 1-11.

Nation wise All Time XIs

Beginning with T20I all time XIs. The first format will be the shortest and newest and we will work into ODIs and tests.

Let’s start with Australia :aus:

1. :aus: :bat: David Warner - Probably the best T20 batsman in Australia and is a straightforward pick
2. :aus: :bat: Aaron Finch (c) - Captain and probably most influential t20i batsman
3. :aus: :ar: Mitchell Marsh - by now I feel he’s cemented the spot. Other options were Cam White, Clarke etc but Marsh has much better stats
4. :aus: :ar: Glenn Maxwell - Prolly the greatest Australian T20 middle order player. Easy pick
5. :aus: :bat: Michael Hussey - He has very decent T20I stats. His 2010 WT20 was iconic too. And he’s a capable T20 cricketer
6. :aus: :ar: Shane Watson - A bit low for him but as an allrounder he is a very obvious pick, can bat from 1-6 bowl 2-3 overs
7. :aus: :wkb: Matthew Wade - The best of the bunch among the wks. Honestly Inglis might get this spot by the end of his career. But as of now Wade is better than Haddin with the bat to get this role
8. :aus: :bwl: Mitchell Johnson - Might not have the best stats but I’d pick him over Tye simply cause I know he’s a much better bowler even in t20. Harsh on Tye, but eye test matters more
9. :aus: :bwl: Mitchell Starc - Easy pick as one of Australia’s best LOI bowlers and arguably the best considering both formats .
10. :aus: :bwl: Adam Zampa - Easily the best spinner in T20Is and has done more than Hogg by now
11. :aus: :bwl: Josh Hazlewood - Simply gun of a bowler, his 2021 and after performances have boosted him into this XI. He is definitely one of the best T20I seamers for Aus

Honourable mentions - Cam white , Andrew Tye , Brad Hogg , Dirk nannes , Brett Lee

#2 :ind: India All Time T20I XI

1. :ind: :bat: Rohit Sharma - The highest T20I scorer for India at an average of 32 and strike rate of 141. Not the most impressive Bat Avg compared to other top-order players in the XI, but he has definitely been a top T20I bat for India, with 5 hundreds to his name.
2. :ind: :bat: KL. Rahul - He might have become an accumulator now but at one point was looking like India's best T20I batsman (2018). Averaging 38 @ 139, easily better than Dhawan in T20Is for the second opener spot
3. :ind: :bat: Virat Kohli - No debate for this, the T20I goat. Retains his best spot at 3
4. :ind: :bat: Suryakumar Yadav - Has quickly risen to be among India's T20I greats. 3rd highest runs averaging 38 striking at a whopping 167.
5. :ind: :ar: Suresh Raina - It was honestly too hard to select between him and Yuvi. But with more runs and a little higher average I'll go with Raina. He's a far more complete batter in T20s, as he has shown in IPL. But this spot is very debatable
6. :ind: :wkb: MS. Dhoni :c: - The captain and WK. Though his T20I stats haven't been phenomenal, he is still the best lower-order T20I wk for India, and the best captaincy choice for this XI, purely on opinion, even if Rohit may have better record as skipper. He averages 38 as finisher, so he's good here
7. :ind: :ar: Hardik Pandya - His all-round record for India in T20Is is severely underrated. 141 SR and 28 Avg among top run scorers and 3rd highest wicket taker. Easily better than Jadeja, and also needed as another pace bowler in the XI
8. :ind: :bwl: Bhuvneshwar Kumar - Going for him to have a decent bat at 8 and also because his T20I stats are pretty good, very economical pp bowler.
9. :ind: :bwl: Kuldeep Yadav - Harsh for Chahal, but Kuldeep has been simply phenomenal even with lesser wickets. He started off his T20I career with a bang going at 2 wickets a game in the first phase of his career. Then after coming back into the side he's again been very good. Averages just 14. Couldve fit both him and Chahal if we drop Bhuvi, but economy valued over wickets.
10. :ind: :bwl: Jasprit Bumrah - No debate again, doesn't play a lot of T20Is and still has amazing stats and has been India's best ever pacer.
11. :ind: :bwl: Arshdeep Singh - India's Top T20I Wicket taker and has no doubt been phenomenal since debut. Definitely India's second best T20I pacer after Bumrah and easily makes the XI.

Honorable Picks - Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jadeja

#3 :eng: England All Time T20I XI

1. :eng: :bat: Alex Hales - The best pure opening batsman England have had in T20Is. 2074 runs at an average of 31, he was one of the better players for England in the pre-domination era. Much better performance than Roy overall.
2. :eng: :wkb: Jos Buttler - Possibly England's best ever T20I and T20 player. 3500+ runs, averaging 35 and striking at 140. Ever since promoted to opening, he has been one of the best at the job in the world.
3. :eng: :bat: Dawid Malan - Strike rate might be his controversial aspect but his mad purple patch in 2019-21 is still not to be taken lightly. Has made his name still as one of England's best T20I batters, and the best at 3. 1892 runs at an average of 36.
4. :eng: :bat: Kevin Pietersen - Only scored 1176 runs but averages 38 @ 142 playing in a time before T20I cricket became what it was today. Which is why he didn't get to play enough. Still makes it as one of the best English white ball batters.
5. :eng: :bat: Jonny Bairstow - A little low for him but he has to make do, still the best option of them all at 5 if we play 6 batters as we should. 1671 runs averaging 30, striking at 138. Much better than Stokes, or Wright.
6. :eng: :bat: Eoin Morgan :c: - The obvious pick, especially for the captain. The man behind England's white ball revolution. His T20I stats aren't as bad as the rest of the peak England lineup made him look. 2458 runs at No. 2 spot all-time, averaging 29. Decent enough for 6.
7. :eng: :ar: Moeen Ali - Was not too impressive, but still the best pick for this No. 7 position, which he has played in a lot following the power-packed Top 6. 21 average but strikes at 142, perfect for a finisher role here. Also has 51 wickets, making a much stronger case for 5th bowler than Livingstone, which is why he makes the cut.
8. :eng: :bwl: Chris Jordan - Despite his bad performances recently, Jordan is still one of the best T20I bowlers for England. A proper death specialist at his prime for England, he was clinical in the pre 2021 period. 108 wickets at 26.36.
9. :eng: :bwl: Adil Rashid - England's Highest T20I wicket taker has to make the XI, with 131 wickets at 24.35. Rashid is the epitome of longevity, and has served as their main T20 spinner for years. Swann's average is remarkable but undoubtedly Rashid has made more impact in T20Is all time.
10. :eng: :bwl: Stuart Broad - The bowling's representation for the pre Morgan era England. Broad managed 65 wickets at just 22.93, leading the charts before Rashid and Jordan overtook him. He was also captain at one point, and has been underrated in T20Is, after all his test exploits.
11. :eng: :bwl: Mark Wood - The last bowler spot needed to be a pacer and Wood ultimately cuts it. His T20I record is really unnoticed, 54 wickets in 37 innings averaging less than 21. He has been a proper wicket taker. He has seriously been better than both Archer and Willey, and thus deservedly takes this No. 11 spot

Honorable Picks - Phil Salt, Roy, Stokes, Graeme Swann, Jofra Archer, David Willey, Sam Curran, Livingstone
