Vitality Blast

Congratulations to the Birmingham (Warwickshire) Bears for winning this seasons competition, was hoping that Flintoff could see Lancashire to the win at the end there, just conceded to many runs both in the powerplay and towards the back end of the innings.

Can't wait for next seasons competition where I hope to go to some more Lancashire home T20 matches

Would be interesting to see if Flintoff can play a full season of T20 cricket next year. If he can & perform well, its not totally out of the question, that he could be part of ENGs 2016 World T20 plans.

I hope he does continue to play on for another year or two in T20, I think he showed during the final that he has what it takes. It was almost a heroic fairytale ending to the match and although I was supporting Warwickshire, I was almost hoping that Freddie could pull off a spectacular final over and steal victory.

Good to see Alex Hales in form. His 6 sixes off his 6 consecutive balls last night was pretty impressive. Be a shame if he goes over to the IPL benchwarms the whole time and loses it.

What a win for Kent today... I'd written them off after their collapse, but brilliant work by Northeast and Blake to take the match back.

Was at the game and I seriously had written Kent off fully once that 5th wicket went down. Real shame we couldn't win that in the end given the explosive start Carbs and Vince gave us and the start with the ball.

I was watching on Sky and left the room when we were 70/5 or whatever it was....came back and we needed 14 off 10! I couldn't believe it.

Has Mark Cosgrove always been THAT big?

Sounds like a great night of cricket at Chelmsford. Let's hope Sky finally pick a close game soon to show live. :p

Going down to Taunton so should see Gayle next Friday ;). Want to see some fireworks but don't want him tearing us apart :rolleyes.

The thing with Taunton though, is that you don't need to be a big hitter to be able to hit lots of boundaries at the ground, so it levels the playing field a bit. I'd expect most teams to be thinking that 200 is par though.

Somerset's first 3 or 4 games are sold out too, so that place will be jumping. Especially on a Friday night!

Can't wait, bit different to sitting in a 1/4 filled 20,000 seated stadium :D.

Gayle hits 151 for Somerset but they still lose :p
