Ya, because it's the only time they can cheer for you. Even they know that they have to cheer now as there will be nothing to be happy about when the matches start. :p

Gave my response lots of thought, ensuring it cuts apart your comments with deadly humorous effect.

However in the end, settled for this :p

Who said they will be cheering when we lock them out of the ground because we have signed a multi million pound corporate sponsorship deal to keep the riff raff out and build corporate boxes (with air conditioning) everywhere... Although we will provide something just not sure what (ever seen Major league).

Xtremely Xplicit and Mumbai clash in the second pre-season game
Xtremely Xplicit, the winners of the List-A leg of PCPL, are going to host Mumbai for a four-day first-class pre-season game. Played at the Xtreme Circle in East Thane, the match is going to be vital for the preparations of Xtremely Xplicit's Wilfred Rhodes First-Class Shield campaign. The team will have a tough task ahead as they face Mumbai, the runners-up of the 2016/17 season of the Ranji Trophy.

Mumbai XI:
A. Herwadkar, P. Shaw, S. Iyer, S. Yadav, A. Tare†*, S. Lad, A. Nayar, B. Sandhu, S. Thakur, V. Dabholkar, V. Gohil

Mumbai have named their playing XI for the pre-season game that is to be played between them and Xtremely Xplicit. The team is led by Aditya Tare, and also consists of a 17-year-old opening batsman with record-breaking statistics named Prithvi Shaw, who undoubtedly will be the one to watch out for.

Context

It might not be a must-win game for Xtremely Xplicit, as they might just look to test out their team after the reshuffle and use this pre-season game as a preparation for the real tournament. Xtremely Xplicit, for winning the previous leg of the tournament, are being considered the hot-favourites in the Wilfred Rhodes First-Class Shield and have a lot of expectations on them. It will be an interesting match, and highly competitive nonetheless.
