What is the point in so many warm up games, aren't the Sri Lanka Vs India; South Africa Vs Pakistan and the Commenwealth Bank and Chappel Hadlee Trophies not enough?

These are in the West Indies though which gives teams the chance to get used to the pitches and conditions.

I'm really hoping one of the minnows would beat a strong test team so people would stop calling it a joke. Except Pakistan, of course.

You never know though. Kenya made it to the semis last time around and Zimbabwe to the super 6 in 99.

Zimbabwe were really quite good in 99 and Kenya got through because of political turmoil I seem to remember and Steve Tikolo is past his prime .

Bangladesh could be a good bet though. They've beaten India and Sri Lanka before.

Well it was only 4 years ago that Kenya reached the last 4 (albeit aided by England and NZ's forteitures).

I'm sure these matches wont be telecasted on telly. So if a player get 10 wickets for no runs or he scores 200 runs will that count in their stats?
