I need to create a website for a school assignment but I obv don't know how to code, what would be the best website maker to use? I've tried Dream Weaver but it's so complicated, i'm aware of MS Publishers ability to create website but there aren't options like inserting videos and stuff, any other recommendations that are noob friendly but can allow me to create an appealing website? Otherwise i'll just stick to Dream Weaver.

I remember when I was in 6th class, I used to play a lot with Microsoft Frontpage. It's reallly awesome. Expression web is new and might be a complicated one for you. MS Frontpage is really user friendly.

However, I'll suggest you to learn HTML which is easy then you'll be able to create cool sites for your school ;)

Is it easier than Dream Weaver?
I found Dreamweaver to be about the best in making something that looks good easily, and as much as you need to know just to pass a class, HTML isn't really worth learning if you don't need it.

Ignore Hitterman, he's wrong.

I'm obv not going to learn HTML
If I need help while making my website, i'll ask you guys for help
Right now, could someone tell me how to edit the background of the sidebar and the background behind the text that comes when you choose a template?
Like how do I edit the gray sidebar background, the gray behind Heading and the white behind the main text?

I would like to know how to change the colour if those backgrounds and if possible, how to set an Image as the background

Click on the area where it says Header.
On the right menu, click CSS Styles. Now, in the menu that opens, if there is an option asking for 'All' or 'Current', select 'All'.
under it you will see
+ <style>
Click on the plus sign.

New entries will come up.. Look for:
.twoColLiqLtHdr #header (Or anything #header)

Double click it. A new window will open, defining the properties of the header.
From the left Menu, select Background, and in the background colour, select whatever colour you want, and click OK.

Do the same for the others..
The sidebar can be found by #sidebar, and the main content will be #mainContent.
There might be a footer as well which will be #footer.

If you have trouble understanding anything, or this doesn't work, let me know.

If you want to set an image as your background, for each element, where you choose the colour, there is an option to select an image under it. You can use that if you wish.

MaD, 'Sorry', but the Topic sucks :p
Is it supposed to be just a 1 page site, or with links and all?
