Wow! A declaration with only 100 runs in the lead. The Aussies must be real confident of their bowling.

GAYLE OUT SLOGGING

Chris Gayle's run of poor form continues as Warne chimes in with his first. Gayle ran down the pitch and tried to slog a pitched up Warne delivery over cover by miss-timed it and was caught brilliantly by the captain Ponting in the covers. Gayle was at one stage looking promising so he will de dissapointed to fall short of a 50.

MCGRATH CLAIMS FIRST

The West Indians have suffered another big blow with the loss of their captain Shiv Chanderpaul. The Windie captain was tempted into playing a drive on a full pitched ball which cut away and hit his middle stump. The West Indians now have to rely on their middle order to get themselves pasgt 220 and give them a reasonable chance of winning.

Brian Lara has kept hope alive for the West Indians by scoring a half century on the 4th day. Lara has been the only batsmen who has tried to take control of the bowling and score runs of Warne and Lee. He has attacked and hit out hard, at one stage hitting 3 boundary's in a row. Lara now need to get his head down an concentrate on keeping the run-rate up.

WARNE STRIKES AGAIN

Shane Warne has claimed his second wicket, Brian Lara. This is a huge breakthrough for the Aussies as Lara was looking dangerous after he made his 50. Warne floated a leg break up onto middle stump, Lars tired to smash it out of the ground but could only find Mike Hussey at Long on. The Aussies now have the Windies on the ropes as the tables have turned...

AUSSIES CLAIM VITAL WICKET

Shane Warne has again claimed a big wicket going into the final day. Warne again trapped Ramdin infront but this time for a low score. The Aussies now have the tail exposed and will be looking to finish off the Windies quickly and have to chase down around 80 runs.

MCGRATH AND LEE CLEAN UP TAIL

Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee have destroyed the Windie lower order. McGrath bowled a tight line outside off which was too good for the Windie tail enders and drew many edges. Lee went for sheer pace and got results from that. On a sour note, Matthew Hayden reaching for one of these catches has strained a muscle in his arm and will be unable to open the batting. Adam Gilchrist has been nominated to open while Mike Hussey will take Ponting place at number three for experience in the top order.
