I was buying DBC 14 and found this forum while searching for some queries in google. So joined planetcricket to ask some doubts about the DBC game.
And how did you came to know about this site ?

I was tired of cricket discussions on Facebook ending in stuff like "Gay Hind" and "Porkistan" so I searched "cricket discussion forum" on Google. Ended up here.
At the start I got into a lot of arguments, especially with PokerAce, who is now sadly banned forever, and with @kushal17 . I didn't exactly know how to debate correctly, but with time I learned.
I signed up for the PCPL, but no one bought me, of course.
Then I found out about the Cricket Leagues section. The first league I participated in was @ARKRafay 's "50-50 Supercup", if that's how it was called.
When I ended up on @Na Maloom Afraad 's Haier Cup thread, I was so excited that I went through the whole first two seasons, and then I signed up as a reserve manager. When I got my chance, NMA got banned for three months. When he returned, he restarted the league and I won it without losing a match.
I signed up for the PCPL in the midseason auction. @Ali. and the Amigos expressed their interest in signing me, but chose someone else ultimately. But I think I'm one of the hottest free agents right now. What a difference a year can make.

What made Me join PlanetCricket was A2 Studios and their mods for Cricket 07. I loved playing C07, and A2 Studios mods just made it way better. I then started modding the game myself, and I improved so much, A2 Studios made Me a member in 2015.
*insert dream accomplished meme here*I became a part of what is everything to Me now, the Cricket Leagues section, two years after I joined the forums. My first ever league in which I participated was VC's 2014 Commonwealth Games. Although, I did start a league without participating in any at first. But it was shit, but pretty expected.
Now, I have a beautiful thing called the Haier Cup. Which, btw, is only the second league I ever managed. And I love that league.
Actually , I joined PC in 2015 and I still don't know why the hell I joined at that time.....
After an exile of almost 6-7 months , I started visiting the Cricket Discussion forum.... Mainly just for the Cricket Quiz started by @CerealKiller . Then I started visiting the DBC14 forum.... But the main part was starting my career in cricket leagues... My first league was VCL by @ARKRafay but it didn't continue... Then I joined the Carrebian Cup by @Kane Dav and it had the same fate.... Then I joined @Pinch hitter 's IPL and PC t20... And then I hosted my first league and it was really cool... The PC First Class Wprld Series..... Just for info... I have never reached in the playoffs of any league...

While we are talking of what made us to join this forum, I got to tell you that my membership revolves around an interesting story where @Ali. was throughout with me all these years.
I joined this site on April 2014 when the C07 forums was quite famous around. I was nothing when I tried modding the game which resulted in ban. I returned to the site in the month of Nov of same year. Ofcourse, it had been several months after my ban got lifted. Once again created a new thread in C07 and made some geniune mods.
Then I joined some of the leagues but only to find myself rejected. I should be thankful to @VC the slogger for having me in one of his leagues (don't remember the name). I must say I was quite inactive in that league and was not even posting the lineups even after his no. of VM and PMs reminders but yet he had me in his league. That marked a breathrough as I was included in many reputed leagues runned by The Author. Time passed and I got more active and familiar with leagues section that I was eventually alloted teams with just one sentence of "I'm in. Any team".
I was approached through PM by Ali. if we can purchase a team in PCPL. We got togather with two other members and purchased the Indian franchise for 30M. We were competitive in OD and T20 but failed to perform in FC.
Feb 2015 gave me what I wanted. I was included in Sportsbookie team along with @Ali. for ICC WC 2015. Banned for a week and excluded from sportsbookie team in my 1st week of April 2015. I was once again approached and added in Sportsbookie team in the month of June. I started posting in Cricket Discussion forums where I got into arguments with PokerAce which resulted in many General Warnings from the staff. I still miss him. Don't know why he is banned.
Since then I'm an active member in Cricket Discussion and leagues and still post some of my comments in C07 forums aswell. All this time @Ali. was with me and last week we celebrated 2 yrs. anniversary of internet frienship between us. Hope you guys like my story.

I was interested in C07 modding back then and then I came around this site , and made a lot friends on that part of the forum it went on for a lot of days and then studies got me occupied and I had to put a break to modding. As I was about to leave the forum I came around the leagues section and I loved being in it I have won 3-4 leagues and successfully completed a couple of em . And Planet Cricket has entertained me for a considerable period of time.

Don't have time to write a whole long story. But here is a short version.
I also joined this cause of 07 Cricket mods.
After that I start posting in Cricket discussion and participated in leagues.
Thats how I find interest and joined Planet Cricket.
