Where are people buying from in UK

Hi, I live in England and wondering where people are pre-order in this from? I've checked Amazon, ShopTo, and Simply Games but none of them are selling it. I bought DBC on PS4 when it was released from the publishers eBay site but there's nothing this year (maybe change of publisher?). So any UK buyers no any sites?

You might wanna wait a bit before panicking. Let the official word on pre-orders be out. Until then, I think everything will all be just speculation.

Valid question as availability in the UK was shocking when DBC14 launched. TruBlu were a proper let down last time. It would be interesting to know Big Ant's plans/hopes in advance for what should be one of their bigger markets.

For me, on PC, it should be a simple choice of Steam.

I pre ordered at GAME last time. It was a long time before I saw a copy on the shelves, so I'd probably do the same this time.

Same here. I think they had it available for pre-order a few weeks before release, so I'm guessing it'll probably similar this time. I expect Amazon will have it up sooner though.

If i 'member correctly I think I got DBC14 from 365games.co.uk when it was first released. They still have stock of it currently, but no pre-order links for DBC17 as yet. I'll be in London in mid December, so hopefully pick it up from a physical store instead of waiting for it to be shipped.

365games.co.uk

I got my PS4 pre-order copy from them at release. Retail-wise I don't think I ever saw it available as a new game - Game, Cex, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, Morrisons etc.

the PS4/XB1 versions were the only ones I ever saw at retail, which i saw definitely saw in tesco, asda and morrisons, but never sainsbury and i can't recall game.

interestingly, these versions had a different uk distributor than the ps3/xbox360 ones. that release in the uk was incredibly poor and one hopes that wouldn't be repeated

i know the Aussie cricket season has started hence release 15th December ishh .
i hope we in UK get same date but we tend to get pushed back to march/april because our season starts then.
If this happens it would be great if big ant could give us the heads up , i would be ordering via Dubai or new Zealand again if that was the case .
so i have it for xmas !
thanks graham

The marketing was non-existant last time in the UK.

In South Africa, wanting the Xbox version of DBC 14 I went on the morning of the release to BT Games. They guy hadn't heard of the game at all, but when I asked him to check if they had any in, he found one for me. I never saw a game on the actual shelves there.

I'd be interested to see what I can find, as I am in SA over the summer without my PC and buying a PS4 just so I can play DBC17. Let's hope it is stocked.

I saw a few in my local GAME week or so after release. When pre-ordering it they never heard of it either but it was in their system after calling HQ. also me bugging them going in all the time asking about it may have helped. lol :)

i pre-ordered in game. they knew all about it but only in the context of it being the "other" game after the ashes 13 fiasco. they took the pre-order but no deposit, and i never heard from them again. i imported it and got it 1 or 2 days after the worldwide release, way ahead of actual uk release. as i said recently, the original distribution for the uk was awful, not just the release delay but the actual visibility being zero. the change of distributor when they released the ps4/xb1 versions seemed to improve this and the only retail copies of it i ever saw was those versions on supermarket shelves.

i really hope it is better this time around, and ba get the support the title deserves.

If I remember correctly the uk was only a week behind world release last time. I had pre ordered from GAME and got it on UK release day. As above the guy in my local store didn't have a clue about the game, he said the game was cancelled, confusing it with the other game.

Have asked Shopto.net they were not aware that it was coming out! They are going to check with distributor and get it on their website soon.

Worrying that it seems whoever the distributor is not communicating with the retailers.

Tru Blu aren't very good at this kind of thing. Anyone remember Rugby Challenge 3??? I'll probably go with Amazon because they are the most reliable
