Argh. Decisions decisions,

Argos say it's been dispatched RM first class yesterday. Shopto haven't yet dispatched. Do I trust that Argos actually have and cancel shopto or wait and see what turns up first and return whichever one is later to Argos, which would be a pain.

Can anyone who ordered from Argos confirm if theirs has arrived in today's post? I'm not home till tonight so won't be able to check before shopto dispatch.

Never mind, shopto have charged my card now so will just have to wait and see which arrives first and return the other to Argos. Hopefully they will both come in similar shrink wrap so I can return the one from Shopto to Argos if Argos one comes today.

Got my shopto dispatch notification with image so should have it from them tomorrow at the latest. Who knows when the Argos one will turn up!

i never got round to cancelling shopto before they sent dispatch notice.

so my strategy is:

1)if game is open when my train gets in tonight see if i can pester them in to giving me the game early
2)if not hope the argos order is waiting at home
3)if not hope it arrives in the post from either argos or shopto before 9am tomorrow
4)if not run to game and get it there
5)crack one off to calm myself down
6)play

The plot thickens. A call from Argos (who I cancelled with yesterday) that it had already been dispatched and was with royal mail yesterday!

New plan: bugger shopto. if Argos is there on the mat tonight, yee ha. otherwise i'm at game first thing tomorrow and will return the Argos delivery.

Hopefully the Argos one is there as not only would it mean i get it sooner it's cheaper as well!

Was the call from a Birmingham based number by any chance? Got a call earlier that I haven't been able to return yet but got a dispatch text a couple of hours ago for my cancelled Argos order....
