ok, i know he hasn't gone yet but if the selectors had any sense they would sack him after the odi's- im certain he would retain his previous status as one of the world's leading batsan w/out the pressures of the captaincy

Sachin is undoubtedly the best player not only in the indian team, but in the world- but this doesn't necessarily mean the best captain- the pressure sachin is under everytime he goes out to bat is huge enough- no other cricketer in the world has the eyes of the nation upon him- the added pressure of capatincy, i think, would be too much
