Why are Richmond a basketcase?

Didn't know where to put this topic so figured it deserves it's own Thread.

In all seriousness, why are Richmond so pathetic? Over 15 years since they have won a final, multiple coach sackings, Lol Chaplin and a Brownlow medalist who will forever have an asterisk next to his name.

And don't get me started on their fans - a bunch of power-tripping, cousin-glubbering pigmys who look like they live under a bus shelter.

One of the most unsuccessful franchises not just in Australia but around the world.
